I am looking for a high quality tuner card that will allow me to watch and record HD programming on my PC. I want the best hardware and software combination, since there are some decent tuner cards with lousy software. I plan on using my 40 inch LCD TV as a second monitor, and want to have the programs be played full-screen on this TV while I have other programs running on my other monitor. What kind of product meets these requirements? Also, how powerful of a computer do I need for an HD tuner along with a video card that can output resolutions up to 1920 x 1080? Will my old Pentium 4 PC with 1 GB of RAM suffice?
