I was wondering what would you recommend for speaker cable connections, Banana plugs or spade lugs ?

Thanks

banana plugs would be easier. the only advantage I can come up with for the spade plugs would be that they would be better attached to the back of the receiver therefore reducing the accidental unhooking by an elf are animal.

Or you could just use the bare wire. Only advantage to using banana plugs is quick disconnect (and possibly neatness).

Banana plugs all the way. I bought this receiver a week ago, and I did not have enough banana plugs around, and thus one cable was hooked using bare wires, and it was a pain in the butt to do it. I guess I am getting to old to see the small holes to insert the wires. I am now buying the so-needed banana plugs this week.
