Hey guys, sorry if this sounds stupid but I am new to this so bear with me. I am in the market for a new laptop and was looking at the HP XDS16 w/ the BD drive. I have had good experiences with HP's and I know this has an HDMI output to hook up to my HDtv (Samsung ln32a450 720p). Anyways, I was wondering, as far as resolution goes, does my laptop have to be using the same resolution as my HDtv (1366x768) to get the best picture quality while playing movies from my laptop? I ask this b/c i am determining whether to upgrade the laptop display to 1080p or just stick w/ the 1366x768 display. Does it even matter if the two displays are running on two separate resolutions? Thanks for you help!
