Is HTF causing my address bar to act wacky?

I recently did an update to the htf toolbar and since then my firefox
browser has been a bit wonky.

previously the address bar would go directly to a website
with me just typing the site name in the bar.

"facebook' would take me right there.
the name of a movie would take me right to the movie's
page on imdb, not anymore.

what happens now is a search result page that seems to be a google page
with a HTF logo on the far top left side of each page.

I asked over in the computer area but no one has been able to help.

any ideas?

I just noticed from that page that this is exactly what I described above with the htf logo on the left top side.

While I don't have the HTF Toolbar (never knew about it), I do have a Google Toolbar on my browser, which was recently "upgraded" with new/different features. If the HTF toolbar is run off of Google, which they seem to at least be connected in some way, then Google's changes may have also changed the way HTF's toolbar operates.

I figured it out.
it is a component on the htf toolbar.

there is a email notifier drop down.
in the setting is a check box for
"enable search from address bar"

this must have become checked during an update.

it is now unchecked.

I didn't even know that function was part of the toolbar.
