I really enjoyed the pilot episode. Toni Collette is a fantastic actress that needs to be in more films and television. I adore her.

Sadly, I do not get showtime, so this is one show I will have to wait to netflix.

Way better then I expected.

SHO is debut their Sunday spring rollout; this, then L Word then Secret Diary of a Call Girl (S2).

S2 "Secret Diary" has already aired in the UK, and I found it mixed from the first; much more of a downer. I think "The L Word" jumped the shark about 2 season ago (after Dana died, I thought that was a perfect point to end the show). But eh.

I really did like this, though.

First show I've been aware of that was set in my hometown. (Overland Park, KS) !

It didn't wow me, but it has promise. I'll give it a couple more chances.

The best line was when the son told "Buck" to go to the gun range for "murder practice".

I really enjoyed the pilot.
I'm glad they didn't show us the third personality(homemaker)

The whole family have great chemistry together.
I'm curious to see, once we see all three personalities, on how they are going to be "living" with each other.

The thing that I like is that we see this family in the stage of already dealing with her personalities, almost laughing along with her or at times at her.
Not so sure I'd want to see a before situation of them trying to deal with it.

highly recommended!

Enjoyed the Pilot. The show does have the feel of Weeds.

Seeing the son attacking his sister's boyfriend while down, was just hilarious.

I didn't get that, the people who populate Weeds are morally bankrupt and twisted individuals, these people, on the other hand, seem much more grounded and also seem to care about one another.

Loved the pilot! Such an odd and yet interesting idea to set a tv drama around lol.

I also like that we're coming into their lives at this point in time when they've already begun accepting what's happening to Tara, if we had to endure the early stages I think it would have been way too heavy to be bearable.

Tara's varied personalities are a riot! T is just plain hot and Buck, well, wasn't too keen on Buck at first but when "he" took to pulverizing that goth punk (daughter has horrible taste in boys) I began to like "him". Interesting that the personalities retain the memories from one another.

Off to watch the second episode now, so cool that it's OnDemand already.

Tonight's ep focused entirely on the third personality, Alice, a 1950s school marm type. But the way Alice/Tara dressed down the teacher (Played by the always great Tony Hale)

Good ep, but if they are set in the midwest, then it needs a lot to be a bit more "realistic"

I'm still on the fence with how I feel about the show, but why aren't they advertising the supporting cast more? Patton Oswalt and Tony Hale in the same show????

I hope we get to see more of Patton Oswalt. I always enjoy him.

I loved the transformation that Tara went into Alice in the mall.
I like how Kate has conflict with Alice, but confides in "T".
It's nice to see that the family really doesn't like all of Tara's personalities.


I like how Marshall's female friend is dressed in a rockabilly sense.
Thought there might have been a scene with her and Marshall and Alice in school together.

Max has already had to turn down two sexual advances from his wifes alters.
I know that Tara only goes into her personalities when shes at levels of stress, but I'm wondering if were ever going to see her go into one of her characters in the middle of them having sex or at some other really awkward moment.

I really enjoy it so far. Episode 6 is probably the most drama oriented one, about the difficulty of keeping the family together. Very good, this show rides a really tricky line about the humor of her situation and the real difficulty and family pressures it brings.

But the bad boob job = priceless.

I'm watching it, but it's not appointment TV for me. It's not a Dexter, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, etc. I think my problem with the show is I can't point to any one aspect of it and say, "Whatever else is going on, I really like seeing _____." The alters bore me. It's also difficult for me to believe someone could be so fragile as to fracture so easily on a daily basis. I mean, if you're going to turn into an alter because (let's say) someone cuts you off in traffic, that's pretty serious stuff. Given that situation, I'm sorry to say that I'm halfway to thinking she should be on lockdown for her sake and others. Marriage and 2 kids? Regardless of how the show tries to ultimately say it's OK, I don't see that as OK at all. Not that I'm universally right, but that's probably why the show doesn't resonate with me on some level. I'd say I'm only watching out of morbid curiosity. I'm deleting the shows as soon as I'm done with them, though.

I enjoyed episode six, Transition with Fred Ward and Pamela Reed as Tara's parents.

I like the relationship between Marshall and Tara's sister Charmaine.

The botched boob job scene was pretty funny.

So who peed on Tara's parents bed? Buck?

Yeah I enjoy the Show.. but I understand the concerns, draw out the situation that the Husband found himself in, in the Arcade, Tara could've been seriously affected if she pursued the guy from the arcade, plus he could've been arrested etc..

Kind of a touching end to the season; and I did like the twist about how her alters don't just protect her, but really try to protect others, even when it isn't so obvious. I loved everything about the bowling alley sequence.

Very good series with outstanding performances from Toni Collette. She deserves a best acting nomination (the other four nominees should practice smiling as Toni's name is called for the Emmy).

I'm wondering if Tara is secretly adopted.

I know this is a stretch, but what if Buck is her TRUE father and Alice is her TRUE mother and T might be an actual sister?

Or maybe one alter is her true parent.
Also maybe Gimli might be from her real father rapping her?

Which might not make sense since Buck and Alice are widely different.

Now that we know that Trip slept with/raped T and didn't trigger her personas. I'm wondering if the personas have something to do with early childhood.

Interesting ideas. I wondered myself how far back the personas went and what else could be hid away inside. I guess the father aspect could also explain why Gimi used her real Dad as a toilet.
