I have one for sale on Craig's List for $85.00 and did not get a bite yet. Is it too high, I enumerated the fact that it scales to 1080i via component and therefore you can enjoy scaled DVDs on a HDTV that doesn't have HDMI. Is 85.00 too much to ask for and what would be a good price. The machine is 3 years old and I stopped using it when I got a BD player in November. Of course I'm looking for honest quotes and not ones that benefit the buyer.

Will this also upscale a video input from a standard Definition Sattelite receiver?

No, this is just a DVD player. Sorry for not being clear about it, but I have to admit this was the buzz for years and the player has it's own thread in the Audio video section of the forum. I happen to look at EBAY and one closed with a bid for 175.00. Is this realistic.

it is sad but true. you may have to try fleabay. craigslist is pretty limited as far as area coverage is concerned, so i think you will get better exposure with fleabay.i have an oppo 970 that i couldn't unload with a BIN price of $90 plus shipping. most people have moved on to HDMI equipped tv's and players and have no use for the component upconverting abilities of these players. just have to find another use for it.
