I just bought a used 65" JVC (AV-65WP74) rear projection TV. I noticed some blurring on the sides of the image. I ran auto convergence with no improvement. When I run the maunal convergence the grid shows good alignment in the center but the sides are off. The red seems to be high on one side and low on the other if that makes sense. Like the red image needs to be rotated. My remote only allows me to slide it horizontally and vertically. Can this be adjusted and is it something I can do myself? Thanks for any help!

Re: Rear projection convergence problem
You may need to tweak shims and rings on the necks of the picture tubes. Usually the green is the reference and you tweak the red and/or blue to match. This is a job for experts since there are exposed high voltage connections inside.
How many "zones" does the remote control convergence manipulate. The most advanced sets had 100 zones (10x10) while less expensive sets had nine zones (3x3) and some have just one zone, the entire picture, with tweaking inside needed.
