I have an ATI HD2400 XT video card in my HTPC that I use the DVI to HDMI dongle and output the audio and video via HDMI to my Panasonic plasma. Everything works great.

My question is if I get an AVR like the Onkyo TX SR876 that accepts HDMI 1.3a will it be able to pass the video on to my Panasonic and then decode the 2 channel PCM audio into the surround format that the disc was recorded in?

If the ATI HD 2400XT won't work then do you have a suggestion on a video card to use that will pass the HDMI audio and video? My PC needs a low profile PCIe video card.

Thanks,
Parker
