No english audio output from DVD player

Greetings.

I am using a pioneer DVD DV 533K and Kenwood KRF-V5560D receiver. Quite old set-up but I am happy with it. Recently, I noticed that some Disc that I use has no English audio output whether 5.1 or 2.1. Funny though because when I select other language, audio comes out. More so, when I use the disc on my laptop, the english audio comes out clear. Please help on how to output the english audio.
