I think I may be expecting too much from my HDTV, but I have a question regarding "shimmies." On my old CRT, if someone was wearing a thin-lined striped shirt or if there was a lined pattern (for example, small lines in a brick wall...), every so often I would see the picture "shimmy" (almost like a "flicker"). With my HDTV (Sony KDL52W3000), I still see this every so often.
Is this normal? Is this a limitation on all TVs?
