9 - new animated feature

i've never heard nor seen anything about this film before, but this trailer certainly looks interesting:

9: Trailer - Film Roster

anyone know what those things are? or anything about the basic story?

Details still seem to be pretty skimpy. Looks interesting based on the trailer. Looks like it could be a departure from the comedy fare that dominates Western animation. Have to wait and see. Right now those characters remind me of oversized denizens of "Little Big Planet" the PS3 game. Looks like this film has been in production since 2007.

Interesting looking trailer. Produced by Tim Burton: a good sign.

Looks fantastic. Hopefully it is one that stands out above the very poor CG'd cartoons we've seen over that last 5 years or so.

I really liked the short when I saw it in The Animation Show. I just hope having the ragdolls talk doesn't ruin it.

Saw the trailer for the first time today. I want to know the music at the end of it. The trailer looked great, very inventive. I'll definitely check this out in theaters.

Not sure the name of the song, but the band is Coheed & Cambria.
