4 Subwoofers, 1 Choice

I've been extremely irritating to find a sub to go along with new setup. I just can't come up with a verdict. Here's the competing subs:
-Dayton Sub-100-$120
Parts Expressayton SUB-100 HT Series 10" 125 Watt Powered Subwoofer
-Velodyne VX-10-$180
Velodyne VX-10 10" Class A B Subwoofer Video Gray (VX 10) at Vanns.com | features
-tSC ASW-8"-$100, maybe even ASW-10''-$150

The subs will be used for music and movies. On the AVS forum, people are telling me that the velodyne is the way to go. However, the velodyne is also significantly more expensive. People say the dayton is good for movies, but is bad for music because of its "boominess." On the other hand, I've heard that the subwoofers from the speaker company are good too.

I'm betting there's not going to be much difference at that price range. I've heard good things about Dayton. I also heard of Polks at that price range that sound OK. I like Velodyne as a company (I have one of their subs), but can't comment on that particular model.

Any way you can increase your budget to $429??? SVSound - Box Subwoofers
