Re: where is family matters on dvd?
Well, every show has its own reasons for not being on DVD or being released and then not selling. I believe Family Matters was officially announced for a first season release and was then pulled with no reason as to why. At the time I think its was running on ABC Family and perhaps those ratings were not good. Its now on Nick@Nite and I assume doing fairly well. Perhaps this will finally prompt a DVD release. However, if there are other reasons, such as music rights, then its popularity in reruns may not have anything to do with it. I don't recall a lot of songs being used in the first season apart from the pilot episode's use of What A Wonderful World as its original theme.
I would think that this show would be a big family seller if it could finally see the light of day.
