Re: SPHE Press Release: Breaking Bad: The Complete First Season

I'm really looking forward to seeing this set...I'm glad I gave this show a chance when it first aired...I thought it could be rife with ridiculous plotline contrivances in playing us to see the lead character in a sympathetic light...what I discovered was one of the most memorable and incredibly rich viewing experiences I've ever had...Bryan Cranston is a revelation and I was glad for his Emmy win in a very strong field of nominees this year...the whole cast and execution is great...AMC is due for a great deal of praise with this gem and Mad Men as well...

Okay, I can't be the only person thinking where's the Blu-ray release? Seven episodes, extras...throw them on two discs (three if Sony wants to stretch it). I'm very very intrigued by the series and would pick it up in a heartbeat. DVd, though? I don't know.
