Two-time Golden Globe® nominee Kirk Cameron (TV’s “Growing Pains”) stars in the inspirational story about a brave firefighter who must learn how to rescue his own marriage. The latest film from Sherwood Pictures, created by Alex and Stephen Kendrick (Facing the Giants, Flywheel), also features an all-volunteer 1,200 person cast and crew. Marketed by Provident Films and the Affirm Films division of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and released by Samuel Goldwyn Films, Fireproof has so far grossed more than $30 million in theaters.
The powerful, action-packed tale of triumph, honor, and forgiveness opened at No. 4 at the box-office and remained in the top 10 for three consecutive weeks. In addition, the film’s phenomenal grassroots success propelled the book featured in the film, “The Love Dare” by the Kendrick brothers, to the top of The New York Times paperback bestseller list.
