I finally built my riser out of 4x8 osb and 2x6s and carpeted. Ive read that if you do not fill in the dead space your riser can become a resonator? which I am guessing is bad? I have 3 subs in my room so im putting out some bass for sure, what problems could i have with not insulating the dead space?
