I've had my laptop nearly a year now, and it has never created a (C Drive) restore point in System Restore even though it is set to do so auto-magically every day.

When I try to set a point manually, it seems to work fine, even opening a window saying the restore point had been set. But when I close System Restore, then re-open it, it indicates that a restore point has never been set.

I am able to manually set one on the D (recovery) drive, but not the C.

Suggestions?
