And in their first prime-time television appearance... KISS! I lived through the '70s, and, at the time, did not realize that they were this weird.

This show seems more and more like Paul Henning's version of The Andy Griffith Show, which is not a bad thing, but unexpected.

Mrs. Drysdale arranges for Elly to go to The Willows, an exclusive finishing school, in a bid to run the Clampetts off, but Miss Hathaway gets to the school first and convinces the girls that Elly's hillbilly clothes are the next big thing. (And TBH, she was only off by about five years.) This episode features Sharon Tate as one of the students. When growing up, I always got a chill when I saw her in this show.
