Re: Welcome aboard

Welcome to the HTF, Robert! I loved the 20th Anniversary edition of Tron and loved the work K-P did on the Lord of the Rings special editions as well. Thanks!

cheers,

Thanks!

Folks,

Thanks for the kind words. I'm hoping to answer any questions you may have about any aspect of the industry, so make them interesting!

Re: Welcome aboard

Two Words: "Free Enterprise."

I watch it religiously every six months or so, and it still cracks me up each time! Amusing story: I probably would never have discovered this gem if it were not for finding a still shrink-wrapped VHS copy that someone accidentally dropped in the street! Possibly the best "find" of my life...

Oh, and the CFX (?) pilot included on the Special Edition should have been picked up...

Sorry that I don't have any interesting questions

Re: Welcome aboard

Don,

Many thanks for the comments about FE. I LOVE the story about you finding the VHS tape of the film on the street! That's amazing!

If you think of any questions...please, fire away...!

WOW!  With my "hectic" life, I never noticed that you replied to me TEN months ago.  Yep, I've watched FE twice since then.

Everyone I have turned on to this film says exactly the same thing:  "Are you sure *WE* didn't write this film?"  Then they go out and buy it...

I've never been a Trek fan, but THANK you for setting everyone straight with the "Trek" vs. "Track" debate.

Just so you know, that VHS I found all those years ago is no more.  It was replaced by BOTH editions of the DVD...
