Well, the new server went down due to the database needing to be repaired, especially the post table which has millions of posts and takes hours to repair. Hopefully we are back up and running with no further down time.

And there was further shit to have to take care of. This time it was the index files on the same table. Looks like we may be having to remove a bunch of older posts.

is this tied into email notifications? I seem really hit and miss with them. Older threads I've posted in, I get no notifications. not a big deal obviously.

I am sure that things got screwed up with the email notifications. I will go into your control panel and check over those threads you are interested in being subscribed and make sure they are still enabled.
