Teac - DX50 i --- dont laugh

This mini system that I just bought at Costco is awesome! But I thought I could connect my laptop in order to listen to XM Radio??? It looks like I can't does anyone know? It sayx AUX, maybe a laptop isn't an AUX? dont laugh at me. laura in ATL

AUX means auxiliary.
Not sure about hooking up computer. Maybe there's a setting in player software of the PC, to tell it to output to external device?

Thanks! I'll try to look for that on the laptop. I really wanted to use it. But, still, the it's a great player. Im in the N GA mountains on weekends and because of the tin roof? the FM radio is horrible. Hey, I'll bring my MACbook and see if that works next weekend.(this is my work laptop, Dell) appreciate it!

You should be able to use the headphone out on your macbook and get a splitter from radio-shack that converts the headphone cable to RCA's. Then you should be able to connect to your stereo.

I've done this for several years and it works great, only I use a 10' Y-cable which is 3.5mm male on one end and L/R RCA males on the other.

You could try a Dolar Store as well. EVERY cable I am using to connect my music dedicated PC to the system in my basement bar came from a dollar store.
