Pioneer Elite Plasma vs Elite Monitor: Opinions on which one to buy.

Hi! After a lot of reading & viewing I've come down to a choice between the Pioneer Elite PRO-101FD KURO High-Definition monitor & Pioneer Elite KURO PRO-111FD. The purchase will occur in late March 2009 when I've finished saving up for the purchase.

I've NOT used an OTA antenna in more that 25 years, only cable or Directv, so that is not a criterion for my pick. I'm VERY interested in any first hand experiences that anyone may have in using & watching or calibrating either of these two 50 inch Plasmas.

Did you read Doug Blackburn's detailed review in the most recent Widescreen review? His analysis was very thorough and descriptive.

I guess I'll have to subscribe to get access. THX.

I'm also still quite interested in the "Real World" experiences of any HTF members who own & use or who have auditioned one of these two Pioneer Plasmas. Those experieces can provide info & insights not available in a "Professional" review IMHO.

I'm constantly evaluating the things you mentioned.

What I'm looking for is someone to relate ACTUAL Hands On experience with watching & using the TV(s).

okay, how about this?

IMO, it is the best plasma display on the market (not considering price).

Now...

consider the feature set and the price points relating to the feature set.
