Re: Michael Crichton RIP?

Yes, unfortunately this seems to be the case. It's being picked up by other news sources.

Conincidently, I re-read "The Andromeda Strain" "Jurassic Park" and "Sphere" recently, just finishing "Sphere" a few days ago.

Obviously, I was a big fan of his novels.

He usually publishes a new novel, is it every 2 or 3 years?, around the holidays. Anyone know if he was working on anything before his death.

He will be missed. I really enjoyed his work. RIP Mr. Crichton.

Re: Michael Crichton RIP?

Even though it's not the greatest movie, I've always enjoyed "Runaway." RIP Mr. Crichton.

Re: Michael Crichton RIP?

This is sad news. 65 years is too young. As a six-year old I was scared to death by the film Jurassic Park, but I also loved it immediately (and love it still).
Thanks very much. Rest in peace.

Re: Michael Crichton RIP?

An enjoyable writer.
I loved Westworld and the sequel where the deceased Yul Brynner was replaced by a t-rex.

Re: Michael Crichton RIP?

This has been confirmed now, hasn't it? I think the question mark should be removed. (Otherwise it seems like we are questioning whether or not he deserves to rest in peace.)
