Guilty as charged!

Admittedly I was hoping for a concurrent Blu-ray edition of this when I first heard about this release and since then this fell off my radar.

I just don't check in on this area as much as I used to since most of the stuff I'm interested in for DVD (Noir, classic Horror/Sci-fi, genre classics and cult films) has really been drying up over the past year or two. Plus having to wade through all the ridiculous "I hate Blu-ray" posts is a bit annoying.

Anyhow I'll be adding this to my next order even though I'm not terribly fond of Age of Consent.

Back in 2005, when they screened the restored 'Black Narcissus' at Cannes, it was reported:

"In association with the BFI, a brand new digitally-restored HD transfer of I Know Where I’m Going (1945) will also be screened as part of the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. Also the screening of A Matter of Life & Death (1946) will be from a High Definition source that has been transferred from restored film elements made by Grover Crisp at Sony Columbia who is kindly sharing access with Granada International for this special screening."
