I will take just about any type of music if it's free! I've gotten exposed to some great bands that I might never have discovered on my own.

Monday's Deal is another Amazon "early bird special": Amazon.com: Townes: MP3 Downloads: Steve Earle for $2.99. (It's available everywhere else tomorrow.)

In case you weren't aware, Starbucks still does the free iTunes "Pick of the Week" download cards every Tuesday...but you need the card with its specific code to download the track. This week's song is "The Rake's Song" by The Decemberists.

Got an email for a free Coldplay album as a thank you to their fans.

It's beginning to look like a trend: the Monday deal is another "one day early" release. For just $3.99 you get get Amazon.com: Amanda Leigh: MP3 Downloads: Mandy Moore a day earlier than other retailers.
