Thoughts on Sharp Aquos

Hello everyone: I am thinking of getting a Sharp Aquos 46D64U. Wondering if any forum members have a view on Sharp Aquos LCD TVs. I read something about a 'banding' problem. Is this a concern unique to Sharp? Thank you in advance.

Hi Jignesh, I purchased my Sharp Aquos D62 back in early 2007, I've never experienced any banding issues with my set. Couldn't be happier with the picture quality.

Banding is not a unique concern to Sharps but to all displays with "processing handicaps".

Costco Wholesale is running a sale on this very set, the Sharp Aquos 46D64U for two (2) sets the price is 2099.98 shipped. OR 1,050 EACH.

Looks like a really good deal, if I can find a 2nd buyer.
