DVD audio playback from Sony DAV-DX155 to t.v. speakers?

I've got what seems to be a really basic question but I can't figure it out. Here's my setup:
  • Sony DAV-DX155 receiver/DVD player
  • Insignia 42" Flat-Panel Plasma TV (model NS-PDP42)
  • Dish DVR 522

How can I get the audio from a DVD playing in my Sony DAV-DX155 to go to my t.v. speakers?
I've got the audio going from the t.v. to the surround sound speakers hooked into the DAV-DX155. But I can't find an "audio out" port on the back of the Sony to give DVD playback a fuller sound and come out of the surround sound speakers and the t.v. speakers at the same time.

You should not have sound coming from surround system, and tv speakers, at the same time! That will totally take away the effect and reason for having surround sound. In an HT system, the tv is used only for video.

If you think your system needs a "fuller" sound, your speakers must need calibrating, or some other settings are wrong. Do you have a subwoofer? If so, are your speakers set to small? Play with settings on sub, to add a little more bass. Maybe you need new speakers?
