3D is "Comin' at Ya!" in 2009

The 3D demo we saw was awesome but it was just the tip of the iceberg according to Display Daily. Check out this post for October 8th:

The studios are very excited about 3D because the experience cannot be "bootlegged" by camcorders.

One of my concerns about our demo was that it was all video or digital in origin. No filmed material was shown. Perhaps, this particular technology cannot handle film...

Anyway, with this many players in the game the 2009 CES should really interesting. One of the scheduled session tracks on Home Entertainment and Lifestyle Technologies will present "How We Will See 3D TV."

I loveed the 3D!!! Can't wait to have one for sports and nature shows in HD!

The ability to implement 3D presentation in HD video eliminates some of the huge technical liabilities and costs that have previously made it undesirable to the industry and exhibitors.
