So, does that mean "Streets of Fire" is on the way?

I'm still hoping that Mallrats makes its Blu debut soon.

hoping for Stardust on BD w/lossless. i think the HD DVD had 1.5Mbps DTS-HD =). let's hope for lossless DTS-HD MA (very likely since it's universal right?) =).

Sesaon 5 has never been release on Blu, just 6, 7, 8.

Glad to see the list is shrinking for those who are not HD DVD equipped, but there are still 27 titles on that list that I own (and enjoy) that are not on BD yet--I still think a number of them are years away, so I have no regrets.

I hope the upsweep of output from Universal will include the classic monsters films.

(And I wish Warner would too and do Forbidden Planet)
on these reissues i'm just hoping for complete lossless audio everywhere =).

I saw that today, too. Good news. I'll formally add it when the US disc is announced.

If they ever do Caddyshack on BR I hope they add that new Inside story

Tremors

Any rumours about The Big Lebowski?  A buddy of mine was over last night and we watched my HD DVD copy.  He wanted to know if it is available in BD.  I assumed it was but a quick check tells me otherwise.  He has a PS3 but no HD DVD player and he's keen to get it in hi-def.

Nothing yet. Perhaps when A Serious Man comes out on Blu?
 Brandon,

Looks like you missed listing 'Cream at The Royal Albert Hall' reunion concert from 2005. I think it's from Rhino.

Where is the source of this info?

I have yet to see any pre-order availability at the sites I order from.

That would be very cool. I hope it comes! I still have the old non-anamorphic DVD, as i am a hater of the Universal DVD-18s the Franchise collection came in.

I thought it interesting to note that Warner is supposedly releasing FORBIDDEN PLANET and GRAND PRIX in France this year according to a Blu-ray.com translation and re-presentation of info posted at EcranLarge.com.

If that's true it'll likely be the same disc the US gets, and around the same time.
Cool! Forbidden Planet is a must have and it will be great to have Grand Prix!

If this is true that they'll come out in France, then the US is hopefully not too long behind. Since they are planning on a FP sequel of sorts, I thought they would delay the original on BD for a while.

looks like this'll be the year everything will be remedied...

though isn't there still Monty Python's Holy Grail? that's still not on BD yet right>?

No, Sony has not yet released Holy Grail on BD. I'd be slightly shocked to not see it come out this year, as it's always been a money maker on home video for them.
I actually thought this was already out, but I must've gotten mixed up with when Life of Brian came out.

And Now For Something Completely Different too, although that's just a some refilmed material from the first season and some new material from the second one put together. Live At The Hollywood Bowl was also shot on film, I believe.
