Diane Lane is my favorite actress, and I like Richard Gere fine. However, I didn't care for this film. Much too sentimental and sappy for my tastes, although I must say this is not my favorite genre and I wouldn't have gone except for the cast.

Thanks DavidPla.
We saw this last night and both quite enjoyed it. It is a bit syrupy for me to be honest but the filming was superb and Diane Lane is very good in it. When is she finally going to get THE role that she deserves?!
All in all, recommended for the romantics and for a date movie.
