Oh joy, I managed to get my hands on a copy today so there is no doubt it will be in the player this evening. Never had the chance to see it until now so it should be a treat. The dvd keep case is hinged inside where there are two discs. There is no booklet either. There is The Lion Roars and The Lion Reigns Supreme Part One on the first disc and The Lion Reigns Supreme Part Two & The Lion In Winter on the second disc.

I'm most curious if the film clips have been updated with restored elements or not.

I have the laserdisc set and would love to retire it, but at the same time if this is little more than a laserdisc transfer, I may have to hold off.

The clips were not updated when the documentary aired on TCM this week.

The film clips are not updated on the DVD. It is more or less exactly as it was when it aired.

This was shown earlier this week on TCM but I only DVRed the first part. I wonder if they'll repeat it?
