I don't know if anyone really cares.

the first season was pretty good but the second season wasn't so hot in my opinion and the strike didn't help either.

Re: The Riches canceled

I loved this show - I really enjoyed s2, even though s1 was superior (IIRC creator Dmitry Lipkin wasn't involved much - if at all - in s2).

As far as I'm concerned, The Riches was the biggest casualty of the writers' strike, and this is the bitterest blow since the losses of Deadwood and Carnivale. More-intelligent programming = bad?

Darn. I really liked this show. I did like the first season better, but figured the second was hurt by the strike. I was looking forward to S3 to get really good again and now I guess it won't.

Agreed, I liked the show, and the first season was much better, but I also agree the strike had a lot to do with that.
