I only see WALL-E with a release date.

WTF Disney?

C'mon!

Any real news on these?

No real news but I thought Finding Nemo was still slated for 2009. The Toy Story movies probably won't be out until November 2010 when Toy Story 3 hits video.

I thought I read somewhere that Monsters Inc was also coming out sometime in 2009.... along with the delayed Finding Nemo, that's two titles in 2009. Given that two are already available (Cars and Ratatouille), I'd say five (counting Wall-E) by the end of 2009 isn't bad at all. They can't release 'em all right away, now can they?

Nemo is supposed to be 2009 and I read somewhere that Toy Story is supposed to be 2010 methinks.

Dont know about Monsters Inc, Bugs Life or Incredibles

It'd be nice if those slated for 09 come out in early 09 rather than November 09.

I'll be quite happy when all these are released. I love all of their movies.

You need to understand all the studios are still holding back on
the "best of the best" of what is in their library until there is
greater BD penetration. None of these studios want to release
a Toy Story to a still young BD market that will not reap
them huge sales.

Give Disney a lot of credit for announcing some of their most
coveted animation releases for BD so early in the game.

Whenever tiltes like Finding Nemo, Lion King, Toy Story, Incredibles and Monster Inc do come out, I will be all over them. These are titles that should look increadible on Bluray especially Finding Nemo and The Increadibles. I am sure that the studios have been holding back hoping for Bluray sales to improve. But you would think that titles like Finding Nemo, Lion King, The Incredibles, Lord Of The Rings, Indiana Jones, Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars, Back To The Future and some others would definantly push Bluray sales. One thing that is hurting Blu-ray sales right now is the financial meltdown that is happening right now. Hopefully when this mess is over and people have more spending money they will be buying more things like Blu-ray players and Bluray movies. If the financial mess gets worse I would exspect that studios will push back more Blu-ray titles.

I totally agree with that, Disney has come out with great titles and I will be buying as many of them as possible, well maybe not Gangs Of NY. I have never really owned to many Disney titles but now with Blu-ray I am now buying a number of Disney titles. Sleeping Beauty is a good example of a Disney title that I may have not have purchased in the past, but I am going to buy it today for the first time on Blu-ray. So to Disney I say keep up the great work and keep em coming to Blu-ray.

I'm waiting on the Ghibli titles they have under license. Hopefully they will do at least a couple of them as cross-promotion for Gake no Ue no Ponyo, although US theatrical release on that is probably more than a year away.
