Panasonic Viera looking for a 42 inch model

any suggestions as to which models to buy and which ones to avoid. i'm also looking to match it up with a Panasonic Blu Ray Player but the player will be asked in a different part of the forum. Don,

You might be able to save quite a bit by going with a 720p model, rather than a 1080p unit. At 42" the differences will be very minimal and only noticable if you sit pretty close to the display.

i'm looking for a 1080P Model Any Suggestions ? i'll be hooking up a blu ray player to it so i want to be sure i get use out of both.

Don't know if you can go up to 50", but this seems like a decent price.
Costco - $1,399.99 after $300 OFF Panasonic 50" 1080P Plasma HDTV

Looking at the specs, I believe this is Costco's equivalent of the TH-50PZ85U.
