re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
Let me just say how much I do NOT like the idea of yet another Walker kid floating out there. We've been down this road with Rebecca. Do we really need to go down there again?Plus, this episode felt like a second eppy, not a first. Too much that needed to be shown over the long haul-like Paige and Cooper having Justin over a barrel and maybe some domesticity from Kevin and Scotty. Everyone came off as uber-mean to one another.
re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
Mainly the only good scene was Nora pulling the rug out from under Holly.Have I mentioned that Emily van Camp is really turning into a fine looking young lady now?
Why do the writers continually test Kevin and Tommy's relationship?
Kitty and Sarah's spat wasn't as compelling.

Re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
Not much traffic here on this thread!Thought I'd pop in and comment on the heavily promoted March 1st episode where one of the Walkers was going to die while Kitty's baby is born. And there was much speculation as to who it was.
What a crock! It was McCallister after all, but he didn't really die. Well, he did, but he came back.
And I thought Holly really was going to drop her revenge against Tommy was going to happen, but then she had to snoop and now she's taking Tommy down. And now poor Justin will have to deal with Rebecca and where her loyalties lie.
I thought it was a well done episode. I wasn't sure they were really going to kill one of them. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the aftermath of Robert's heart attack and his desire to still run for Governer and Kitty's baby and resentment.
And how will Tommy get out of this mess with of a plan to push Holly out.

Re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
Nelson,He's not getting out of it. Balthazar Getty didn't get his contract renewed and will return next year as a guest star, not a main cast member. It all stems from his affair, which turned the cast against him (according to gossip, of course).
That was ugliest, most deceitful promo I've seen for TV in some time. Yes, technically Robert DID die (gee, thanks blubbering Kevin...), but he sure didn't stay dead! (Notice, though, the "DIE" promo got pulled after the first week and was replaced with one featuring Lowe, Flockhart and Field...someone close to the show HAD to have gotten pissed over that.)
Re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
I manage to catch the episodes, but they aren't priority viewing, and the show feels like it's running on fumes at times.

I don't really follow Balthazar Getty's personal issues and all. Don't really know or care. It's too bad it affected his job. I guess that's why he's not been onscreen much. I hope it didn't hurt his on screen wife's job on the show.
What's too bad is his character was supposed to have been, IIRC, the one son his father thought could have taken the company onward. I guess that makes for more good drama. His failure.

Re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
I thought Tommy was really going to stay and face up to the trial after his weekend with Kevin and Justin, so I was surprised he flew the coup! And I guess this means it was Balthazar Getty's last episode. This new kid, Ryan seems kind of creepy. There's something going on which looks to be revealed next week. The scenes with Rebecca were creepy and I'm glad she asked him if there was more going on with him, if he was after her. Does appear that way still.
PS, thanks Jason for clarifying Balthazar Getty's personal problems.

IMDb is listing this as his last episode, but it seems odd to me they wouldn't have let him go away in a big, season finale SPECIAL EVENT.
"Which Walker will run away instead of facing their problems?"
I kinda dug last night's ep because of the Scotty/Kevin and Kitty/Robert plots. They both felt real instead of made up forced drama (like most Walker get togethers). The only thing I didn't like was the Ryan reveal.
Seriously, if William did what he thinks he did, the show is going to enter a whole new level of depression.

Re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
The Sunday night line-up returned last night with a well done Desperate Housewives. Brothers and Sisters also had an interesting show. Though it seemed rather soapy with a focus on everyone either have a fling or almost having a fling. The Ryan kid continues to be creepy and seems to be trying to get Rebecca who seems to be clueless to it.

Can't stand Ryan.

Re: Brothers and Sisters season 3
They just hadda bring Chad back, didn't they? Ugh. I don't see what Kevin or Scotty or Sara see in him. Beyond ugly with that gravel voice. Nice eyes, though.I'm really happy to see Kevin and Scotty not open their marriage so quickly or easily. Theirs is the one functional gay relationship on network TV and I don't want it to suddenly be all about the sex.
(Roger and Nora are completely cute!)
