Didn't know Sony got the rights to Nikita from MGM. Hopefully it isn't plagued with the dreaded dubtitles though.

I love the qulit of Sony releases, but Stanger than Fiction will be their second double dip. Grrrr

Nikita for me for sure, but like you I expect they'll use the wrong subtitles at first, and then have a recall, and then get them right.

Bought a controlling share in MGM/UA, separated the UA library into two batches so that one could be sold off and the other assigned to Sony, and made sure Nikita was in batch two.

Or MGM/UA's rights lapsed. It happens.
