Hi all! I have a dilemma: I have a collection of over 300 aging VHS that I desperately want to convert to DVD for ease of use (chapters! Variable speed fast-forwarding! Menus!) and also for preservation. I don't need anything fancy. Just a unit or software or something that's quick and dirty and will accurately convert my VHS to DVD with ease of use.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like a unit or software that doesn't have copy protection (true, most of my tapes are dupes of rare horror/cult/foreign films, but some are pre-records).
