Shangri-La Dee Da  by Stone Temple Pilots.

When I'm working on a programming problem, an STP album usually helps me focus.  Not sure why it works, but it does.

Right in the middle of a session with my HT rig and some Sailor Jerry's Carribean rum.  Was all over the map earlier, but hit my stride with the brilliant remaster of Sting's "The Soul Cages" and dipped into some SACD "Police" stuff.  DAMN, it sounds good with the Oppo feeding my Integra...been too long, far too long...

Also recently (and apparently, finally) discovered Josh Rouse...WOW, this dude is awesome.  Such chill, ethereal stuff.  Kinda funny how some artists "make it" and others don't.

Which Josh Rouse?  1972 is a brilliant album--made in the 21st century but if his songs were included on a film soundtrack set in the 70s, people would be saying "Hey, remember that tune?  Been a while since I heard it but…"
