Re: Weekly RoundUp 9-2-2008

FYE - of all places - has several new release BDs for $14.99 each

Every Which Way but Loose
The Gauntlet
Under Seige 2

I also saw they had The Shining, Clockwork Orange, The Aviator and some others for the same price.

Maybe they are going to finally get aggressive in pricing.

From your lips, David...!

You are not the only one who noticed the change @ FYE. I usually am there only to check out what they've got in their "used" bin!

Hell, I'm lucky if I see any BDs in the FYE used bin for under $20!

Good news indeed.

Rebate issue for Transformers

If you read the fine print, you will notice that your receipt must match the state where you live. So if you bought it on-line from (let's say) Amazon.com and you don't live in the numerous states they are located in, you can't get the rebate.

Has anyone successfully received their rebate if they ordered on-line and the retailer is not in your home state?

I don't want to go through the process, cut up my outer case for the PoP, send it in, and never hear from them if I don't qualify. Of course, it's just a price of a stamp, but ...
