Is this too scary for kids?

My wife saw this trailer I made for my latest movie project, and said it was too scary to show to the kids. What do you think?

The only thing the kids might find too scary is the loud sudden noises. Tone those down a bit and you're gold.

If they see kids who are laughing (and none who are afraid), it won't be too scary too quickly.

But personally, I think the "scary" sound is too loud for little children. What's the age you're aiming this at?

I don't know about kids, but to this adult, it was superb! Very fun! (And kudos for using a favorite intro of mine, from Jurassic Park)

Thanks! My older daughter is going to be turning 3 this month, so that is the age group I would be showing the final movie to (I also have a lot of nephews/nieces in the 1-6 age range). Sounds like I will have to tone things down for the final movie. (I'm starting to understand why they make director's cuts of movies!)
