Hello All. Ive spent a good deal of time reading and researching on the site and im very impressed with the content!
Now onto my situation; I have recently purchased my first home which came with an unfinished cinder-block wall, cement floor basement. I would like this to become my entertainment room, not only home theater. Knowing that it wont ever be exceptionally high-end, I would really prefer to not have to frame in and finish the walls. I will definitely ad thick padding and carpet. The ceiling is supended, and thankfully already done using black panels with plenty of space for approximately a foot of insulation above the ceiling.
Now, with thick carpeting, plenty of ceiling insulation and furniture will I do alright with the walls remaining cinder-block??? Thanks all for your opinions!
