Should I be worried?

I have a 42 inch LG lcd and it makes a not to noticeable hum sound when it goes into hibernation mode. Is it a sign that it might break soon.

Hums are usually a ground loop problem. Something on that electrical circuit is causing it. Maybe the tv, maybe not. Try plugging it into an outlet that you know is on a different circuit, and see if it still does it.
