Bones Season 3?

The most glaring omission from the last summer/fall schedule of TV DVDs is Bones Season 3. Any word on when it's coming out, or why it hasn't been scheduled yet?

So, did I answer your question?

It's even stranger that they won't release it on Blu-ray, IMHO.

Re: Bones Season 3?

I'm just hoping they don't try to rip us off with those season 4 episodes and include them on the next set at full price. (Unless next season is 26+ episodes)

You saw the follow-up, right?

As for no BD version, there's honestly no surprise to me on that. I would expect Fox to do Blu's for 24, or for MGM's Stargate shows, which have even bigger audiences (and more explosions and other eye candy), before they do a Blu for Bones.

Looking at the episode listing per disk something does not add up.
e.g
Disk 2 has 4 episodes + extended episode + alternate episode + extended scene. So you have a minimum of 6 x 40 minutes = 240 minutes so very borderline for a DVD9

Disk 3 has 4 episodes + extended episode

Usual practice is only 4 episodes for hour time slot shows plus a few short extras if any on 1 DVD9, so either something will go or compression is going to be horrendous.
