| Warner Home Video have announced the US Blu-ray Disc release of Beetlejuice (20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) on 7th October 2008 priced at $34.99 SRP. The colourful, wildly imaginative family adventure from Tim Burton starring Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis and Winona Ryder debuts on Blu-ray, newly remastered and packaged in a lenticular o-sleeve. Extras are somewhat limited however with just a theatrical trailer and three Beetlejuice cartoons from the TV series which was produced by Burton and David Geffen. Arriving three-weeks after the DVD release, the Blu-ray Disc also boasts a soundtrack sampler CD and collectible booklet “The Beginner’s Guide to Seeing Ghosts”. |
