Blu-ray.com - Indiana Jones Announced for Japan

"Paramount Home Entertainment Japan has announced that they will bring 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' to Blu-ray by the end of this year, day-and-date with the DVD release. A few days ago, the US DVD release was announced with no mention of a US Blu-ray. While a Japanese Blu-ray release doesn't guarantee a US Blu-ray release (or a release anywhere else in the world), hopefully information will materialize soon."

If Japan is getting a release, then I will be too. One way or the other. Region A for the win!

Didn't The Digital Bits say last week that there was most likely a Blu-Ray release coming in the U.S.?

It's Region A so that pretty much confirms a North American release.

Since it is already Monday in Japan I suspect we'll see the North America announcement tomorrow morning.

Since this is Paramount, all releases are probably "R0".. Which is always good.
