Speaker Reccomendations

I was going with SVS SBS-01 speakers(looking for something comparable or better in the 500-700 range give or take a bit more) but I guess there is a slip in them and they wont be available for about 3 months.

Hello, this will be my first home theatre set up, and I have a couple questions.


SVS PCi 20-39 sub
Onkyo TX-SR606 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver

Those are my components so far so I just need recommendations on speakers. Im attaching pictures of my room, and I cannot drill any holes in the wall.


I was thinking speakers 1 speaker on each side of the tv and the center infront of the tv on the same shelf

1 rear on that shelf by my mini fridge

1 rear right by my chair on the side the door op



thoughts?

I was looking into Axiom and Ascend, couldn't get an email to them because I guess their boxes are full

I'd wait for the SVS speakers. You won't find any comparable or better, in that price range. You have a very nice receiver, and a great sub, so why not get great speakers to go with them?
