I wondered if anyone else has seen this. Since these days I believe most documentaries need quotes around them (ex. "Documentary") I didn't believe the claims this was a "fair" presentation of the sides regarding Abortion. Surprisingly, Tony Kaye, the infamous director of American History X, who I was certain would never be able to make another feature film, really seems to have presented the issue in a complete, not to mention rather shocking fashion. Take my word, I don't use "shocking" lightly.
To be fair, I haven't finished the 150 minute doc. I had to turn it off about half way through, but I will finish it. What impresses me is that Kaye lets the fanatics on both sides come off as exactly what they are, and also presents moderates going as far as validating the opposite opinions.
I can't say this enough. This movie is graphic at times. Anyone (like me, and I expect most others) who hasn't thought this issue through 100% needs to be prepared. The B&W photography is probably the only thing which even makes it bearable during certain sections.
