Restaurant/eating establishments talk - Page 2

Re: Restaurant/eating establishments talk

I'm kind of bummed I missed on Picanha this time - I think some of us had been talking about it all week. But there's only so much time and so much stomach!

And on a side note, it looks like I actually lost weight on the trip! I guess getting sick will do that to you.

Lucky you for losing weight!

When I got home my girlfriend told me that I looked as if I'd gained 8 pounds!

Re: Restaurant/eating establishments talk

If anyone is interested, I did eat at Fred 62, Roscoe's and In-N-Out... I am really going to miss In-N-Out burgers, being on the east coast! The waffle at Roscoe's was probably the best I've ever had, but the chicken was mediocre. Fred 62 has speed and presentation at some times, but I was a little underwhelmed with the food. I'm sure there's a knock-out on that menu, but I didn't order it. If I ever go again, I'll have to remember there's no cheese on the Fred McMurray (sausage, egg and hash browns on a grilled bun) and order accordingly.
