I'll put it nicely.
Universal's Doomsday pays "homage" to a great many scenes from an equal number of films.
Normally that might be a bad thing, but in this fast-faced post-apocalyptic thriller, it works.
So does this beautiful Blu-ray representation of the film.
I had no idea what I was getting into when viewing this film, although I had seen director Neil Marshall's intriguing Descent.
This is a Blu to played loud, and with its DTS-HD Master Audio track, it could be a lease-breaker.
Recommended.
