Colossus remake in the works?

According to comingsoon.net there may be a remake in the works. You can read it here: Colossus Remake in the Works - ComingSoon.net

Anyone else have any more info? I would love to see a remake of this movie. According to the article, it will incorporate all 3 books of the trilogy.

anything to get the original in wideness.

The Forbin Project is available in Widescreen with extras from Region 2 PAL UK land.

I only own two DVD's from Region 2 PAL UK anyway.
